Projects Currently In Development and on Track for Production

Bar Mitzvah Man

Logline: A 30 year old wannabe rock star still living with grandma decides to throw himself the Bar Mitzvah he never had to get his family to pay for studio time and further his dreams of fame.

Based on Suzanne Bressler’s 2014 LA Fringe Drama Festival play, 30 is the New 13, this project was co-written by Max and Suzanne with an eye towards Max directing a microbudget production, taking advantage of Max’s extensive production network and locations we own or have connections with.

We successfully raised the first round of our starter funds in February of 2020 and were preparing to shoot a proof of concept scene in March, which was derailed by the global pandemic.

In July of 2021, we successfully completed production on the proof of concept scene for Bar Mitzvah Man and are currently in post production on the project. Once completed, this 3-5 minute sizzle preview will be available along with our other pitch materials.

We are currently in the process of seeking out and securing funding for production from new sources.

Pitch Deck, Screenplay and Budget Topsheet available upon request. Please email BarMitzvahManInfo@gmail.com for inquiries.

The Gospel of Judas: Zombie Jesus Killer

(Graphic Novel)

What if the Easter story isn’t what we’ve been told?

There is a real valley just outside Jerusalem called, in Hebrew, Gehenna. The King James Bible translates this word directly as “Hell.” Rabbinic Jewish literature refers to it as a land of the undead. Kabbalah describes it as a waiting room for the next world.

What if the truth was somewhere in between? What if, at the bottom of this ominous valley, the undead shamble in the darkness, hungry and vengeful?

What if, on his last healing mission before arriving at Jerusalem for the Last Supper, Jesus descended into this valley in an attempt to redeem those lost souls, only to be bitten by one of them?

What if Judas was the only one who saw Jesus’ wound, and was the only one who knew what he would eventually become?

What if Judas knew that crucifying the undead Jesus was the only way to stop Jerusalem from being overrun?

What if appearing to betray him was the only way to preserve Jesus’ legacy and save Jerusalem?

What if the differences between the Gospels’ descriptions of the crucifixion are the authors attempting to cover up the truth?

This is the premise of THE GOSPEL OF JUDAS: ZOMBIE JESUS KILLER.

The script for this graphic novel is written and art is currently being rendered in preparation for independent release and distribution.
